IED nominated in the Interactive Key Award 2008

WEEPR, a dissertation project developed by Roberto Brancolini and
Marco Papale,Media Design 2007/2008 (ex Digital Design), got a nomination in the Interactive Key Award 2008, the first national award dedicated to the web and the interactive communication world, aimed at stimulating creativity and technological innovation related to on line and wireless communication.
Project are divided into two main areas: Web Sites and Digital Tools, hosting 15 categories in total. Weepr won a nomination for the area Web Sites and the category “Social marketing”, which includes a growing area connected to new communication trends.
WEEPR is a synthesizer built on Flash technology which through a simple and intuitive interface allows everybody to create musical bases or loops. WEEPR also makes it possible to share one’s creations through a viral mechanism such as Widget. The application can be downloaded from the support home page www.weepr.com.
The prize-awarding ceremony will take place on November 24,2008 at 6.30 pm at IULM University, Via Carlo Bo 1, Milan (MM2 Romolo).
